On the evening of August 3rd 1998, I was taking a walk by the Ottawa River, when I noticed an older gentleman skipping stones. I didn't think twice about it till Iheard him singing "True Love Travels on a Gravel Road". Thats when I turned around and caught the profile of this man and couldn't believe the uncanny resemblance he had of what I believed Elvis would look like in his early sixties. I asked him if anybody ever told him he looks and sounds alot like Elvis, and he said "Son I am Elvis Presley and I can tell you this, because not in a million years are you going to believe me. I said your right and turned to walk a way, thinking I was talking to some crazy when he started to tell me about his concert here in Ottawa in 1957. Being an Elvis buff of sorts the details and the knowledge this man had surrounding the events of Elvis concert in Ottawa were dead on. I wished him a good evening and was on my way. For the last three nights since I met him I haven't thought much about anything except the idea if this guy wasn't Elvis, he sure did a good job leaving me wondering if he was. |

Elvis was at the Dairy Queen on Main Street in Vancouver WA!!! He had a REALLY big German Shepherd with him. (Is that FANG??) He was wearing his yellow-tinted sunglasses, a black Sugar Bear pimp hat with a peacock feather attached with a silver rodeo-style belt buckle. He was wearing black wide-leg pants and a black button-up shirt that wasn't all the way buttoned up. I know it was Elvis, I would recognize those sideburns and that thick black hair anywhere. He was carrying a cane, although he didn't look 63 at all!!! He was eating a double cheeseburger, and had something else in the Dairy Queen bag!! I think it may have been a peanut butter and banana Blizzard. They didn't announce it when Elvis left the Dairy Queen, maybe he was incognito, but my sharp eyes caught it. I know it was him!!! We saw the King!! |

i work in a california state prison, during my first assignment to a protective housing unit i saw him. i quetioned my supervisers why this one inmate had privaledges above and beyond, wut other inmates had, a big screen t.v. spa, telephone, full service bar, and in cell congical visits. i was told that this inmate was in protective custody due to his testifying in a major murder investagation involving high ranking state officials. in august of '95 he handed me a letter through a food port in his cell. he had asked me to deliver this letter at an outside mailbox. it was addressed to priscilla. according to the institutions policies and proceedures, i turned the letter over to the investigative services unit. the next day i was called into their office and interviewed for three hours concerning the letter. at the end of the interview i was advised to tell no one concerning the letter or discuss wut i had seen while working in the protective housing unit. i know that elvis is alive,i have seen him off and on since 1984. |

I was in the local convienient mart on the corner of my street and a guy walked in the door he looked quite suspisious so as i went up to the counter to buy my items he runs up to the cash register and points a gun at my head and demands the store owner to give him all the money and a free slushy, he then shoots the camera and tells us not to reveal his identity and i swear it was him i am permanently damaged for life because i truly did not expect elvis to be this hostile twords anyone but i will never look at another elvis picture again without cringing at what had happened to me that day at the convenient store!!! |

It was definitely the King - he was dressed as a police officer directing traffic on Hyde Park Corner (in London) this morning at about 8.45am.
